The National Archives and the Carnival Institute of Trinidad and Tobago invite members of the public to visit our small exhibition on Carnival of Long Ago in the Search room of the National Archives. Come learn of the early years of Carnival – the restrictions in the mas and calypso, the queen shows, traditional mas characters, history mas, and more.
The exhibition is open to the public from 29 January to 28 February 2018 between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm Monday to Friday. Groups of 10 or more are kindly requested to call to make an appointment - 625-2689.
